GEF-7 Dryland sustainable Landscapes Impact Program Regional Stakeholders Workshop for Southern Africa
CTDO in collaboration with Zimbabwe Project Management Unit (PMU) funded by the Drylands Sustainable Landscapes Impact Programme (DSL-IP) of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), will be hosting a four-day Learning and Knowledge Exchange workshop in Mudzi District Zimbabwe from 24-29 March 2025. The primary objective of this training is to create a knowledge exchange platform among farmers and producer organisations. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from Zimbabwe’s extensive experience in establishing and managing community seed banks, which play a crucial role in sustainable land and forest management (SLM/SFM) and biodiversity conservation. The workshop will be attended by participants from Namibia, Botswana, Angola, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya and Zimbabwe.
